When you donate to Akbash Dogs International, you are helping an all-volunteer, non-profit group of Akbash Dogs enthusiasts to support this web site, a rescue service, and an ongoing educational program to encourage responsible ownership of livestock protection dogs.  The message boards are for people to talk about their puppy problems and other concerns, and also for sharing successes, joys, and favorite photos.  We hope you'll find this site to be an enjoyable place to visit, read and learn.  Please feel free to participate in the message board discussions.

Our membership is scattered around the world.  We have too few people in any one country to be able to afford official non-profit tax status, so we cannot offer tax receipts.  Some people donate money specifically for the rescue service, or to improve this web site, while others do not specify a specific project.  Whatever your choice, we will do our best to honor your wishes.
